About The Homes

Here’s a look at the homes featured in the Fort Thomas Tour of Homes.

The Abner Home
This early-American Farm home was created by relocating and joining together two work houses built in 1853 originally located on Mount Pleasant Orchards.
The Otto Home
This gorgeous turn-of-the-century home was built by the Sisters of Charity and housed the nuns of Saint Catherine’s Church.
The Tinkler Home
This Colonial-style home, built in 1921, was designed by C.C. Weber, who also designed the Kentucky Governor’s mansion.
The Wendling Home
This lovely Georgian home, also designed by architect C.C. Weber, was built by RC Koch for the Martin family in 1941 and the Wendlings are only the second owners.
The Deinlein Home
This English Countryside home, built in 1929 by EC Landberg, has a distinctive Mediterranean flair.
The Bennett Home
This early 1900’s Victorian was built by Robert Putman, founder of the Putman Candy Company in Cincinnati, for his two unmarried sisters.
The Schultz and Wood Home
This circa 1898 Colonial home was built for James and Emma Southgate.
